Paribus: Money Back Shopping App Reviews

I swear this must be some sort of data phishing scam - wouldnt let me connect to my yahoo account but seemed to know if my password was right or not, without authentication. Im deleting this and changing all my passwords PRONTO!!

The concept of this app and service is great. But there are some BIG issues… 1) No 2 factor authentication with Amazon. They promote how secure everything is with their service. However, they do not support interacting with Amazons two factor authentication. So you actually have to make your Amazon account less secure in order to use it with this service! Seriously? 2) Cannot monitor more than one email address. Paribus says if you want to use more than one email address for purchases then you have to set up a separate Paribus account for each email address. Thats pretty silly with todays technology, but fine we can do that. However, the app will only let you log in to one of those Paribus accounts at a time. So you have to manually sign out and sign back in every time you want to check the other email addresses. Thats absolutely ridiculous. 3) Despite promoting how security focused they are, the only way you can receive payment is if you give them your credit card number and info. They do not support more modern online options such as PayPal, Venmo, etc. This is a great idea, but just not ready for prime time yet.

The best app!!

Ive been using Paribus for over two years now (even before they had the app) and had gotten money from them that I thought was gone! Its a great feeling to just wake up to an email saying that you just got $X credited back to you for something you bought and still own. Keep bringing my money in!

I downloaded this app after cuckoo for coupons was talking about it. How it would pay you back for any price matches.(lower prices) And it does! I made a amazon purchase and over half my items prices have lower since I bought them. Just received my refund! Great!! Saved almost $10 on a $41 purchase! So only paid out $31 !! Awesomeness!

This review has little to do with the service the app provides, as the app itself is designed primarily around collecting user specific data that can be sold for gain. The service and function it provides appears to work, although I have not had a price drop yet on my purchases.

App is neat! very easy to use. I love Paribus

The updated version of the app is clean and very easy to navigate. It provides additional granularity and statistics that aid in purchasing habits. I enjoy reading the real-time "Drops" tab. Great work Paribus!

My wife and I shop frequently online and Paribus has been great at helping us cash in on rebate policies from numerous stores. Theres nothing quite like getting back money you already planned to lose. This app will be huge and I thank the Paribus team for finally creating something like it!

I have tried for two days straight to sign up for this and I keep getting a "we are experiencing high traffic" error message

Poor preparation with this company. Downloaded the app and cant use it because it wont let me sign up due to heavy traffic.

Ive linked it with my Amazon account but nothings coming up? Plus how do I even put in my receipts from other stores? App makes no sense and I cant even figure out how to get money back potentially. Please fix these bugs preventing me from even using it

Amazing app. Gets you money back and you dont have to do anything. I dont see why anyone wouldnt get it. Great work!!

What a waste of time this app is. Idk why any news outlet would cover this app. It wont let me link my Amazon, I tried to skip to try again later and it will not let me do that. I use different emails for shopping online and theres no option to add a different email. This app is complete trash.
