Paribus: Money Back Shopping App Reviews

I forgot that I downloaded this app until I got an email showing I was getting a refund from Target.com. I think it works great!

This is the best app to save money if you purchase online because you do not have to do anything. For example, I purchased a toy for my dog and unbeknownst to me the price had decreased by over $2 so Paribus sent Amazon a message and notified the site of the difference in price and I received a refund. I did nothing but simply download the app and they did the rest! Fantastic! Excellent

I never used to receive spam email until I started using this app. Now I receive them multiple times a day. Paribus says they dont sell your information but they clearly do so what else could they be selling of yours. They are given full access to your email and Amazon accounts. This is actually scary stuff in the wrong hands. Avoid this app!!

I make a lot of Amazon purchases. I thought Paribus would be a great app to get the best price available, but when it scanned my email, first it took for ever. Secondly it only picked up very recent purchases. And lastly when it did get the price change for one of my purchases it never got me the refund. I sat there for 10 days looking at a lower price and it did absolutely nothing.

If you do a lot of online shopping from Amazon, Walmart, etc. you need this app. They do all the work and save you money. Ive got a bunch of refunds and have been using the all for a year. You dont need to do anything except watch the refunds come in. So shop away and know they got your back in case the price drops.

I love the idea and concept of this app since I do a lot of online shopping. Since I downloaded this over a month ago Ive made more than 10 or so online purchases. I kept bringing my app up and watching for a lower price. One of my items actually dropped during my eligibility period... And guess what? No refund. Several other items dropped to their lowest price on my last day and got no refund for those either. From all the purchases Ive made I shouldve earned at least $10 back and Ive earned nothing. This app is getting deleted.

Thanks for ignoring a previous email and failing to initiate the refund process on products whose prices dropped during the eligibility period. Lame.

I became suspicious because Ive had a $2 claim pending for a month or so and the app stopped showing my new purchases and Google Now stopped showing package racking cards. So I decided to check reviews again in the AppStore on Paribus. The search function wouldnt work. I went back and tried to delete Paribus but the icon just kept moving around like someone else was owning my phone. I then restarted my phone and immediately deleted the app. The app requests your Amazon user and Password which I stupidly gave. This app doesnt feel safe.

This app goes after refunds and does all the work to get me my money. Plus their customer service is as good as Amazon- if not better. Use this app and get your refunds!

Ive been trying to get an account with this app and it wont even let me. I KNOW MY OWN INFORMATION and it keeps telling me Im wrong. No I know my pw and email address. HORRIBLE app. Dont waste your time.

Great idea but it simply doesnt work. It shows eligible items, but when those eligible items drop price nothing happens. It is supposed to be automatic. There is no way to initiate a refund from the app or the website manually either. Total waste of a great idea.

Saves me money, so I love it!

I tried this app for about two months. Had problems with it from the get go and they continued until I finally just deleted the app. First, it took forever to get set-up, which, I was told, had to do with the "huge" amount of traffic they were receiving. When I finally did get set-up, I never received updates or anything from then until about a month later when I was notified that I "missed out" on a refund because the card I had linked to my account didnt issue refunds (thanks for letting me know that upfront). This was followed by a big, long, "commercial" for credit cards that did offer refunds. Seemed very fishy to me and self-serving. I really thought this was going to be a great app since they got a "plug" from one of the morning show "techies," but it just ended up being a total dud.

Very good app that monitors my purchases on Amazon and if the price drops I get money back automatically. I find this very useful.

Most of the "supported" merchants no longer work, Walmart is the only one that consistently drops prices and honors Paribus requests. Used this primarily for Amazon and Best Buy purchases, neither of which have worked for me in quite a while. The new update may bring promise with the possibly of Discover card price protection in the future, but for now it is generous to give it 2 stars.
